Manufactured homes are built differently than site-built homes—and they require an inspector who understands the HUD 24 CFR Part 3280 standards, chassis construction, tie-downs, foundations, belly-wrap systems, steel I-beams, moisture management, and the unique electrical & plumbing systems found in factory-built housing.
