About Dave

My name is Dave Cousins, and I am the owner and inspector at One Vision Inspections. My path to home inspections has been shaped by a lifetime of hard work, hands-on experience, and a commitment to helping others make informed decisions about their homes.

Early in my career, I spent several years in the construction and landscaping industries, working as both a laborer and a crew leader. Those years gave me a strong foundation in building practices, materials, and the importance of detail on every job site.

For the past 30 years, I’ve worked in the transportation industry, where I developed leadership, reliability, and a sharp eye for safety and compliance. Now, I’m bringing together my early construction knowledge, my experiences as a long-time homeowner, and my professional training through InterNACHI to serve clients as a home inspector.

I started One Vision Inspections with the goal of providing clear, honest, and thorough inspections that give homeowners and buyers peace of mind. Every inspection I perform reflects not only my training, but also decades of practical experience and a dedication to doing the job right.
