Refund Policy

Refund & Cancellation Policy

At One Vision Inspections LLC, we value your time and strive to provide professional, thorough, and efficient inspection services.
Because inspection appointments are reserved exclusively for you and often require travel and scheduling coordination, the following refund and cancellation terms apply.

1. Payment Terms

Payment for all inspection services — including home inspections, sewer scopes, radon testing, and mold sampling — is due prior to the start of the inspection unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Cancellations

  • Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled inspection time are eligible for a full refund.

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled inspection are subject to a $175 late-cancellation fee.

  • Inspector-Initiated Cancellations: If One Vision Inspections must cancel or reschedule due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances, clients may receive a full refund or reschedule at no charge.

3. No-Show & Access Policy

If the client or agent fails to provide access to the property at the scheduled inspection time, the inspection may be classified as a no-show, and a return-trip fee may apply to reschedule.

4. Utilities Must Be On

For the inspection to be properly completed, the following utilities must be active and operational at the time of inspection:

  • Electric service (main power energized)

  • Water service (main valve open with water pressure available)

  • Natural gas or propane service (active and supplying appliances)

  • Heating and cooling systems (furnace, boiler, A/C units connected and operable)

If any of these utilities are off or inaccessible, portions of the inspection cannot be performed.
Should a return visit be required once utilities are activated, a Return Trip Fee will apply — typically equal to the standard Re-Inspection Fee for the systems that could not be inspected.

(Example: $175 minimum return-trip fee, depending on location and scope.)

5. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are issued only when:

  • A cancellation complies with the time frames above; or

  • One Vision Inspections is unable to perform the inspection due to circumstances within our control.

Refunds are not available once an inspection has been completed, a report delivered, or any laboratory testing (such as radon or mold) has begun.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 5–10 business days.

At One Vision Inspections LLC, clear access and active utilities ensure a complete and accurate inspection.
When utilities are off or access is limited, a return-trip fee applies to cover time and travel for re-inspection.
